December!

Although I haven't had much time to blog recently considering the end of first semester with finals and due dates approaching, I'd like to take this opportunity to share with everyone what I've been baking recently. It goes as follows:

Pumpkin Pies and Apple Pie (for Thanksgiving): I made 2 for PATH and 2 for my family. The crust was a lot harder to make than I expected, but the filling was perfect and had so much flavor.

Gingerbread cookies (for Christmas!): After buying a bunch of cookie cutters for the holiday, I put them all to use with these amazing gingerbread cookies. You can find the recipe at http://www.mccormick.com/Recipes/Desserts/Gingerbread-Men-Cookies.aspx. I suggest bringing out the cookies 2-3 minutes earlier than the time recommended so that they don't get hard and they stay soft inside....
